Bath & Shower Essentials

Wednesday 4 February 2015

I'll admit out of everything beauty, I haul bath and shower products the most. I just love them! It's so fun going to Lush or other beauty shops and picking out your favourite. After a stressful day, you can't beat popping a bath bomb in your bath and relaxing in the heavenly scented bubbles.

The only fault is that there is so many bath products out there, that it's hard to pick the  right ones for you. I find that it's helpful for someone to put you on the right tracks, so that is what I'm aiming to do in this post.

1) Snow Fairy Shower Gel: Lush (not available until Christmas)
The scent of this product is amazing! Lush describes it as a sweet as candy scent which is a perfect description. It lathers so much and you only have to use a little amount. Even though everyone associates Snow Fairy with Christmas, I will defiantly be using it through spring and summer!

2) White Musk Shower Gel: The Body Shop (£6.50 for 250ml)
Again, a beautiful smelling shower gel. If you have smelt the perfume from The Body Shop, you will know that it has a very strong scent that may not appeal to everyone. Personally, I adore the scent and I stay smelling like it all day which is a plus.

3) Jasmine and Amber Candle: Primark (£2.50)
Everyone loves a good candle when having a bath, but I personally don't like using my more expensive candles because I stay in the bath for quite a long time. I love this one from Primark, and for the price that it was I couldn't leave it. I would describe the scent as girly and floral.

4) Lonely Heart Bubble Bar (£3.50, only available at Valentines)
As I haven't used this product yet, I can't really review it but I will let Lush do it for me. "The colour red is for passion... and is said to make your heart beat a little faster! This lovely bubble bar will turn your bath water a lascivious red, and scent it with lemongrass, bergamot, jasmine and ylang ylang. There's also a glimmer of golden lustre and plenty of cornflour to keep your skin soft".

5) Pink Loofah (Came in set, but generally £1-£6)
Loofah's really make my shower time, as they lather up my products and waste less product.

Along Came Betty Products (Gifted by Friend)
Everyone is aware of the rave about Soap and Glory products, but I've found my substitute. Along came Betty products have a lovely peach & apricot scent to them. I must admit, the product didn't bubble as much as Lush bath stuff, but it did make the bath smell beautiful which is a big plus.

Photo includes Lush Jason and The Argon Oil Shampoo Bar, which I'm planning to do a review on if requested.

I hope everyone enjoyed this post, and as always tell me by commenting.
